the seven sad sounds of lonely

  1. hot water leaving the kettle and pouring itself completely in just one mug.
  2. rolling the car window down because the wind gliding across your cheek makes you feel more complete. more present.
  3. a sneeze. released into the world without a ‘bless you’ to follow.
  4. a laugh that echoes in single, solid chimes.
  5. ‘i miss him’
  6. the garage door opening at 7:05 am for your car to enter the workday haze.
  7. shampoo bottles falling off the edge of the tub. because of the haphazard way in which you left them three days ago.

    1. don’t be sad poogz. a little loneliness goes a long way. it also makes for good pieces. (remember that everything is temporary).
