For as long as I can remember, poetry has always been my remedy. I often find that the best way to tackle negativity and pain is to mold the matter into aesthetic material: language. In this way, creative writers are alchemists. There is a profound craft behind the art of poetry. It is not felt by all either, and that too adds to its beauty. Personally, I write poetic pieces to establish a flow between my heart and my head; blood alone doesn’t cut it for me. Also, my poems have always proved to be a major source of self-growth. The thing about this particular brand of creative writing is that relies on vulnerability. It takes being in the rawest, most exposed of states to really produce a work of art.
